@ai6yr Doing my best! Looking for my snorkle and swim fins, though.
I put all my mom's orchid plants outside in the rain yesterday because we were going to get 2-3 inches of rain, and a couple more overnight. I just read the local gauge and we've gotten more than 8 inches. One point in Melbourne in Brevard County has gotten nearly 15 inches. Yikes!
@ai6yr I don't trust any of the gauge reports on the Wundermap under 5 inches for today so far.
This morning between 7:30-9:00 am my mom emptied this old school gauge she keeps in the flower bed. Ugh. And then there's the pond growing in the backyard.
Guess I'm not going to the hardware store today.

@femme_mal Yikes! I don't trust my electronic gauge, I go by an old school one I bought because the electronic one under or over-counts significantly... not reliable.
@ai6yr Welp. Now I've gotten EAS alerts.
@ai6yr It's nasty down here. This system has been parked, not budging. I'm just south of Brevard and there's so much standing water, have a pond forming in the backyard.
Terrain is flat here, too. There's no place for water to run off.
