@ai6yr I understand that. But I'm saying it began before the most recent bit as well. There's pre-dickery there even before they decided only to post on Ecchs.

@ai6yr I see it as related because if people at NWS were disobeying well-established laws on accessibility (sad enough that laws are even needed to care about accessible dispersal of emergency communication), then you already have people at that office who do not give a shit about "liberal stuff" like saving disabled people through accessible communications.
So they're able to resist orders when it comes to accessibility but "unable" to resist orders when it comes to only posting on Ecchs instead of other places people might be.
@ai6yr There were some real assholes working NWS' social media even before Eron Hubbard took over. They're required by law to be accessible and most of them would absolutely refuse to create useful alt text and image description, the murderous ableist creeps.
