So this is entirely @alisynthesis 's fault.
For the record I currently have no intention of loading vibe-coded firmware onto it - I've never owned a DX7 or equivalent so I intend to play with it as is, at least for now.
First impressions are that the keys are so very small, it's going to be a bit harder to play than I imagined.
I do like small keys - my primary keyboard is the nanoKEY2 (also orange!) and I'm fine with the OP-XY but this is a lot smaller.
Hmm.. that's disappointing - I thought it was mostly just Dexed.
(edit: Dexed not DEXT!).

I've looked at the repos for maybe 20 firmwares. Most are either vibecoded or have vibecoded dependencies.
I'm not gonna buy this object, sadly.

@ozzelot @keefmarshall going forward, anyone who chooses not to use any software where AI contributed code (a perfectly fine choice!) is going to be using very little software, I think.
Those people will potentially be much better off.
@ozzelot @alisynthesis Yep, no doubt all the community ones are vibe-coded, or at least most of them are. but I haven't seen (maybe I haven't looked hard enough) that the original one is.
