This week I have a research meeting in the Italian mountains above Milan
for which I had booked a sleeper train back/forth - the system is clearly not built for this; the symbol for travel in the reimbursement system is an airplane.
Then the sleeping train cancelled itself
and now I need to get new tickets approved and the rest of the transport/hotel changed accordingly.
Also now I am sitting in a chair 13 hours there and 13 hours back 
grumble grumble
@priscillaharing the number of times we've had the night train fail us is really disappointing. it's such a wonderful way to travel but has zero redundancy when things go wrong.
