@ai6yr
I loathe video-based articles. Is the answer that he wants to give the kids cancer via an excess of acrylamide? 😃
@ai6yr kids seem amused by all the people offering potatoes as an option but I don’t know about toast.
@ai6yr
"I do have sort of a reputation around town, They call me 'the toast guy'"
I know Canadians are polite but I think he probably has another name or two also
Like "That guy who's house always gets egged"
@ai6yr I don't know man, a toaster running at 1500W or more all night long might be more expensive than just buying candy. lol.
@ai6yr @exador23 Yes, he had mentioned that as better than my snake tongs. BUT I just made the mistake of trying to find that video and looked up King Cobra India and am now totally freaked out and wow. people are brave. I did once bump into a cobra - in India at a national park on a picnic. I was looking for frogs in a post monsoon pond, and the cobra had the same idea.
@ai6yr Took my kids trick-or-treating in a Saskatchewan small town last night. Did not get any burnt toast. (Got a truly stunning amount of candy though, Sask small towns don't go halfway on Halloween!)
Here in Minnesota; there has been a lot of experimental Halloween hand-outs.
Potatoes are apparently popular.
@sundogplanets 😂 Maybe next year!
@ai6yr "Dr. Penfield! I smell burnt toast!!" https://youtu.be/pUOG2g4hj8s
(The immediate, reflexive reference for Canadians of a certain age)
