Search engines that filter out big tech in favor of personal/human websites? I'm getting real tired of seeing AI and 10 YouTube links every time I search.

@incre_ment I know people have mixed feelings on Kagi because it's paid and has opt-in AI features itself, but it has a "Small Web" mode, can filter out AI results, and tags and can filter out AI image results. It's a really good search engine (or rather, it's a decent search engine and almost every alternative is shockingly bad).
@taylor Haven't tried that one. I'll give it a shot. Intrigued by "Small Web" mode.
@loosenut I hadn't, but this certainly looks promising/refreshing!
@incre_ment @loosenut i spun marginalia into my results back when i was hosting searxng. little bit of a spam problem but rather good at surfacing small sites
