Emergency Alerts & Evacuation Information
Evacuation Zones: SET – BE ALERT
Due to ongoing flooding, portions of the Prescott area have been placed on SET – BE ALERT status through the Yavapai County emergency notification system, Genasys.
If your area is shown in yellow on the evacuation zone map, please take the following precautions:
Be ready to evacuate at a moment’s notice. Conditions may change quickly.
Identify where you will go and be prepared to relocate to a designated shelter if an evacuation announcement is issued.
If you need additional time to evacuate, or have pets or livestock, leave now rather than waiting for an evacuation order.
Gather essential items, medications, important documents, and supplies for your household.
What does SET mean?
SET indicates a potential threat to life and/or property. It is not yet an evacuation order, but residents should be prepared to leave immediately if conditions change.
