Once we win the Senate majority we will make Chuck Schumer pay for Haley Stevens.
Let's focus on the midterms now, but the next order of business is to replace this feckless leadership.

We have a significant grassroots racism problem and we need to stop the leftist perfectionist bullshit of blaming leaders and look at the VOTERS who are racist assholes and elevate racist assholes like Stevens

Struggling with this one. Certainly we have a huge grassroots racism problem, and these voters are ultimately to blame when they elect such horrible people. But, don't the leaders that endorse and fund such candidates also bear responsibility? Steven's does not become a Senate candidate making racist appeals without Schumer, the DCCC, and AIPAC. Certainly both the voters and the leaders who make appeals to their worst instincts deserves to be held responsible.

Also would like to address the 'perfectionist' critique. Chuck Schumer is infinitely superior to any Republican. They are not even on the same planet. But IMO if we are going to make real progress we will need better leaders who are not beholden to big corporate benefactors. We should vote for any Democrat, even Haley Stevens, in a general election. But once that is done, we need to continue the work and replace compromised leaders like Schumer.

They screwed up huge, and with potentially disastrous consequences for the world. But look at the context. MI has now voted for Trump twice, because Haley Stevens isn't racist enough for most voters in MI.

@lawyersgunsnmoney @mastodonmigration It's not just Haley Stevens at all. Republicans across the nation are running far ahead of Trump's alleged approval. This means many voters are lying. They claim they disagree with Trump, yet are going to vote for Trump buttwipes to do what they claim they disapprove of. We have a major voter problem. It's worst among Republicans, but very bad among Democratic voters too. Joe Manchin, John Fetterman and other Dems are campaigning for Trump & Republicans.
