I once worked in a factory making a famous chocolate bar. Hygiene was terrible - mud and even blood would regularly find its way onto the products. Now I'll happily eat food I've dropped on the floor. People think I'm gross, but knowing what I know I can't bring myself to care.

@fesshole I’ve worked in many kitchens and deliver to dozens more while they prepped for the day. If you want sanitary food prepared, learn to cook. It doesn’t matter if it’s a food truck or a 4 star ( I don’t live in NYC that’s fancy for us) best of newest they all do the same jobs the same ways.

@fesshole The production line at a baked goods factory near me was never allowed to stop even when exhausted/hungover workers vomited on it. Heard this from eyewitnesses.
