It’s raining! Almost a 40-year run, dang
My friend in Seattle said it was raining while their kid was trick-or-treating and I’d never thought of that being an issue.
So I checked and the last time it rained on Halloween in Phoenix was 1987 😂
@lynnandtonic
Rain in Tucson too! Fortunately it stopped long enough for most of the kids to get in some trick or treating before it started pouring.
@estranged Oh good! We only got 8 trick or treaters so far
@lynnandtonic
We had a decent turnout. Handed out two batches of hot chocolate. We usually do three, so better than I feared.
@estranged hot chocolate is so fun!
@lynnandtonic I want to say "at least you don't have to worry about snow", but I don't want to give climate change any ideas for next year.
(I just went out to sweep the steps because they were getting a little icy as the temperature dropped back below freezing here.)
@AmeliaBR Snow on Halloween is wild!
@lynnandtonic It helped hold the jack-o-lantern in place!
@AmeliaBR @AmeliasBrain Oh yeah I bet! That’s a nice perk
@lynnandtonic Same here! Well trying to.
@lynnandtonic Here, it’s not raining! Which is kind of unusual. We often get rain on Halloween.
