Lungs still burning from the brief foray near the dehydrator. There's spicyness in the backyard within about 20 feet. Doors closed, too, it's just drift hot pepper spicyness. 😬 #hotpeppers
@FiddleSix Gah
I just went out there to peek at the peppers (through the door, lol) and my lungs are burning again. I was holding my breath, lol.
@ai6yr Gonna mix those amongst the Snickers and Skittles tonight?
@ai6yr Hmm…maybe you’ve finally found a squirrel garden deterrent?
@ai6yr Area-of-effect spell!
@ai6yr I've gassed myself out of the kitchen bottling habanero / scotch bonnet hot sauce before. There are definite environmental hazards.
@coolcalmcollected @ai6yr Now picture 20 bottles sitting in a pot of boiling water on the stove with the lids off.
@ai6yr oh yeah you stay around long enough and you’ll bleed if you’re doing ghost or Carolina
@nemokamui 😬 Yeah, it's mostly Carolina Reapers, a few Ghost, and some habanero.
@ai6yr yep. Harsh lesson to learn through experience. Mask and goggles.
@nemokamui My PPE is in the shed where I'm dehydrating things, LOL. I guess I'm not going to check on them until the dehydrator shuts itself off in 10 hours, and I give it time to air out a bit.
@ai6yr
You could be practicing for street action...
I expect rfk jr would say that the more you expose your lungs to that, the stronger they'll get. You'll be able to tolerate bear spray in no time!
