Was thinking of running some errands (by bicycle), but it's so dark outside (rain probably not due until 5pm though). Makes me want to hibernate, lol.

Update: found I had a brand new tube of travel toothpaste, thus eliminating one item on my shopping list, thus further making me uninspired to foray out into the dark world. Will go sort things outside or in the garage, lol.
(Listening to a new CD, "Jurassic 5: Feedback", which is good, and taking apart a t-shirt for recutting. Really need the subwoofer connected for hip hop. 🤔 )
@ai6yr Rick Rubin (producer) always ran every mix through the smallest speakers possible for the final mix and if the bass wasn't discernible he had it remixed.
(Now I need to run this track through different speakers and see how it goes.)

@ai6yr I'm usually not big on Greatest Hits albums, since the hits aren't always the best stuff. But that album is completely solid start to finish. And if it opens the door to getting more Marley albums, or even other Jamaican artists, so much the better.
@W6KME @ai6yr everyone I knew started out with that album. I was a bit spoiled in that my gramma had at least three of his actual albums on 8track.
The thing to keep in mind is that all of the Island releases are just as good from front to back, so if you're thinking about trying them out, you probably wanna do that.

@ai6yr Money saving tip: After a recent flight, I realized I forgot to pack toothpaste. I found you can make the little dollhouse-sized toothpaste tubes they give you in international business class amenity kits last about 4-5 days if you're careful. Take one international round trip per week, and you'll never have to pay for toothpaste again!
@mattblaze @ai6yr Plus, many hotels will give you annoying little packets of toothpaste that must be used up before your next flight (lest you get toothpaste all over whatever container you imprudently put the open packet into).

I posted a ride yesterday so A and I had a leisurely 25 miler ... but trick or treaters will be here and ... I'm trying to FIGHT the doldrums. But 4378 miles on the year now!! (Yes, I used the "get these last miles for October!!!" to help motivate...)
