downloading the entire monero blockchain is a completely unnecessary task for the purpose of making a transaction. it's also exactly what git forces you to do whenever you clone a tree if you want to make commits on top of it. surely you see the problem here
@hipsterelectron no commits on shallow clones? I admit, I never tried, but that doesn't sound good or right.
