You know what's the most annoying thing about many podcasts?
It's particularly the popular kind.
I was going to write a post about shoes but I saw this link to a podcast and I followed the link to the podcast and then I listened to the podcast.
So now I'm writing a post about podcasts.
And what I want to say is...
And a lot of people come to me and they say the same thing and they ask 'What's the most annoying thing about podcasts?'
And, well, I was listening to this podcast and it suddenly occurred to me what the most annoying thing is. Because Maxx Jenna is always talking about this and Wendy Blendy did some stuff on this and I realised that they were on to something. You know, they were right about this. because this is a thing about podcasts and the most popular ones do it the most.
It's kind of a unique problem with popular podcasts. In fact, I'd say that the more popular the podcast is, the more they do this.
So I was listening to this podcast and I realised something.
I realised something.
I realised that these fucking podcast don't get to the fucking point and they ramble on about nothing instead of getting to the fucking point as if I can be bothered to listen to their fucking rambling all day and it is as if they have actually very little to say and they have to pad out their hour and a half podcast with inane chatter because they've not nothing to say and if they actually got to the fucking point the podcast would literally be 30 seconds long because nothing they have to say is either insightful nor complicated and instead it's just verbal wallpaper that people can put on in the background and probably don't even listen to anyway because who listens to this shit and they probably ignore it and just find the bassy speaking soothing in a hypnotic way because they podcast isn't actually worth listening to because they've got nothing to say Aaaaaaaaghhhh!
@lydiaconwell Hahahah yeah welcome to the attention hijacking economy one rambling and thumbnail and a dollar dollar bling bling to rule them all 😁 #FckSurveillanceCapitalims
