If you want to stay out of trouble, here's how. Be sincere about everything. Be polite to everyone, whoever they are. And don't talk much.
That's good in anyone, men and women, young and old. But when someone young and good-looking speaks nicely, it stays with you. You can't help liking them.
Every kind of trouble starts the same way: you act too much at home, you play the expert, you look as if you own the place, and you treat other people as if they don't count.

@lain I've always admired the way you deal with conflict and troublesome personalities. I often wished you'd just go guns blazing
and give back the same energy but your way has always turned out right. You have good leadership skills.

@feld that is very kind of you but i think at some times i need to pull out the guns a lot faster
@lain what's worse though: the guilt from being too harsh, or the regret of not swatting at the annoying fly? both may keep you up at night, but only one stains your reputation
@feld @lain When I was attacked by the Tesla mob for fixing my own car and pointing out flaws. I really tried to keep my composure and integrity. It was difficult. 8 months of non stop attacks against my wife and I. For pointing out simple flaws and how to fix them. What the engineering mistakes had been.
No one considered the fact that 14 years of ownership says a lot. I never got rid of the car and have owned it long enough the car is now discontinued. From original preorder to discontinued. I’m probably one of the longest single owner of a production Tesla.
