Of course they would bring up vegans, nobody talks about what vegans think more than non vegans. They always have to mention how vegans express their beliefs wrong when most just quietly abstain and don't bring it up unless pushed, or have to deal with people 'but why!'-ing them or trying to play ethics game, or slip animal products into their meals for whatever perverse pleasure they get from it. 'Why are you so mad at me for showing no regard for your ethics, you should express your beliefs the right waym'

I do love being accused of doing purity culture as if purity were worse than the known and documented damages of the thing we oppose. as if we were just looking for an excuse to attack people and we didn’t have a reason for any of it.

I do love the idea that we have to prove the other guys are lying, again because they’re in the popular crowd, when the thing they did is use the lying machine and lie about it. I love having to prove that when we’re in year 5? 6? of these dickheads using their horrid toys in the most damaging ways possible.

I do love having to field yet another tantrum in response to a factual situation. we weren’t nice about it, sure. if you want nice, go elsewhere. we won’t bullshit you to be nice, because what’s happening it’s important and it’s important you know what’s up without a filter. what’s happening is horrible.
