Fans across the world mourn the passing of a true and irreplaceable legend. As Captain Jean-Luc Picard, Patrick Stewart took the starship Enterprise to places it had never gone before, and he inspired a whole next generation of star-gazers who looked longingly ahead to a brighter future for all humanity. Our hearts are heavy, indeed. Rest in the heavens, Captain.
sorry to hear this, RIP
We will carry the light he planted into our hearts to the future he dreamed of.
We will be curious, joyful, resilient, respectful, creative, kind and sometimes silly.
We will keep planting seeds of light and hope for a better future.
We all will make it so!
@georgetakei No way. Just learned this. He will be sorely missed.
@georgetakei Patrick Stewart passing hits me like Robin Williams and Catherine OβHara passing. True gems of people.
@georgetakei Thank you for your kind words. This has been a terrible few days for us fans of wonderful Star Trek actors. π Quite shocked actually we just lost Patrick Stewart as well. For decades, he had seemed quite a bit more vital and younger than his actual age, almost as if he found a way to defy aging. Please George, stay strong & healthy. Please stay around. π
@georgetakei OMG! Death is completely missing the point! Only taking the best of men, and women, and leaving the scum to ruin everything!
Rest in peace Captain! You'll be missed!
@georgetakei Rest in peace...
Man, what a brutal double whammy of a week. Sorry for your losses. Hope you are doing ok.
