That's not the point. The New York Times is an information warfare operation. They assert malign influence through what they choose to promote and what they choose to ignore. When they put a nothing burger like this on the front page while ignoring the role of the DOJ in covering up serious crimes they are trying to influence the midterm elections in favor of the GOP. This is how they operate.

@mastodonmigration I’m deeply concerned about the damage Trump and the Heritage Foundation are doing to the institutions that protect our democracy. But that makes independent journalism all the more important. I want the New York Times and other journalists calling balls and strikes fairly, investigating corruption and questioning those in power, regardless of party.
