wellp, my Wacom Intuos 5 stopped working on macOS 27, so I guess it's time to finally replace it.
I guess 12 years is a good run, but I'm gonna go Huion next.

hm, Huion's model selector is really hard to understand because they only show you a handful of options at a time and they often want to rotate on a godawful carousel, and they don't actually show a capability matrix anywhere I can find
annoying
doesn't help that they have like a blilion models too
okay does anyone have a recommendation for a pen tablet with the following characteristics:
* 12-15" diagonal
* decent pressure sensitivity
* tilt is nice to have but not required
* touch is nice to have but only if it can be toggled on and off quickly
* macOS is required; Linux is just nice-to-have
* good stable pen tracking
It feels annoying that this piece of technology stopped working due to something so stupid but on the other hand it lasted me 12 years, which is more than my previous Wacom which only worked for 9 (and which I had to replace because the stylus died, and the drivers no longer were updated for that one either).
But also fuck Wacom, they've gone to hell.
