Well since my morning plans ended up getting upturned by the wallet search, let's forget about being responsible and go see From Here You Can See Everything instead.
I host my show at 6 and the movie is 3 hours long. So I needed a showtime that started early and also was in close proximity to my improv theater. Only one theater fits that bill: the AMC on 34th Street. I put that into Startpage and it sent me to the AMC website. Showtime at 2pm. Plenty of time even accounting for trailers.
I don't know if this was Startpage's fault or amc's or a collabo. It WAS my fault for not noticing I was actually looking at the website for the Lincoln Center AMC.
So when I get to the theater and my tickets don't scan, I realize they are for a theater 30 blocks uptown from me. Not only that, the theater I'm at doesn't have a showtime that fits my schedule. This plan was always doomed to fail, I just didn't realize until I was in midtown Manhattan.
Now I have three hours to kill in the armpit of New York.

Oof. It's probably too early for anything cool in ktown to be open yet.
Ooof, I fucked this up bad. The short version: I will but be seeing this movie today
