I dunno about you but I’d rather take a $12 Five Guys burger over a cheap In-N-Out served with a side of Jesus saves.
@bigzaphod @gedeonm hmm. I might need to investigate. There is a Culver’s nearby and the slowness would explain the always wrapped around the building line… better than Five Guys though?
@bigzaphod Yeah we got a Culver’s too. It’s good but it takes a long time to get the food.
@gedeonm @bigzaphod The last time Brad and I ate at Five Guys in Tucker, GA; the bill was almost $40! For two bacon cheeseburgers, two fries and two drinks.
I about passed out.
We both said “Enjoy it, because it’s gonna be the last one for us for a long time!” That’s insane!
I went to McDonald’s last week by myself and got a Big Mac, Large fries and large Coke. For must me. That was $11.11
May be a while before I go back there again too. 😡🤬
@montef @gedeonm I remember when $5 was enough to get some change back for a whole lunch combo. It's insane. We have 3 kids and all we can ever do is fast food and pizza when we want to splurge and eat out. Nothing any nicer than that, really. Maybe a place like Texas Roadhouse once every couple of months - which isn't exactly fancy. Sigh.
@gedeonm we had a Five Guys here but they went out of business. We have Culver’s. It’s better than both.
