For folks with any mobility impairments I highly recommend requesting wheelchair service at the airport. Don't suffer and push through the slog of getting through security and the gate if you don't have to.
I don't know about most airlines but Alaska's wheelchair service is free and super super helpful.
If I can get a Lyft quickly then I’ll be home around 3. Nice.
anyway i got home at 3:10 and then immediately found that my house was *stinky* and the pet sitter didn't do things that should have been obvious to do, and in texting it seems that he didn't do things because I didn't specifically tell him to do them (even though one of them was a thing I definitely told him to do)
I am disappointed, especially with how much he cost >:|
Every 'gig economy' pet sitter I've hired has turned out this way, so I guess next time I travel I should just get the neighbor kids to do it
anyway gotta figure out where this fucking Aroma is coming from. the sitter claims that my home smelled like this the whole time but it definitely didn't smell this way when I left.
it's a very *familiar* smell but I can't quite place it.
also I really should have taken pictures of the mess left because he claimed that it was just a little left-over food from last night's meal on the plate but there were definitely, like, three cans' worth of rotting cat food in a pile

this is free and available at most US passenger airports, fwiw, and probably various other countries too
bonus: the worker knows exactly where to go and how to get there, which saves a lot of mental work in unfamiliar airports

@fluffy I hear great things about Alaska Airlines in general. You Seattle people are so lucky to have that option.

The rare times I've had issues with Alaska they've gone out of their way to make it right.

Anyway I’m back on solid ground and my suitcase was one of the first to arrive at the baggage claim. Lucky me!
