You know how many time zones there are in LibreWolf?
How many time zones?
Yeah.
Yeah I never, I never really studied up on that.
You know how many time zones there are in Librewolf?
One, two, three… uh… no, sir.
Zero.
Zero…
Zero.

Zero
@mcc@mastodon.social how does this work
@puppygirlhornypost2 Until you uncheck a nondescript box in the LibreWolf settings labeled "ResistFingerprinting" (lack of space in original), all copies of LibreWolf claim to be in UTC, so that you don't leak information to websites about what time zone you are in, which means all times will be shown for you in UTC, which will be incorrect without you knowing why.
@mcc@mastodon.social explains why i keep missing my college seminars (my college is in a different timezone and when i see a time on zoom i used to assume it is corrected to central time)
@puppygirlhornypost2 ResistFingerprinting is a waste of time. LibreWolf's fundamental project philosophy seems incorrect to me. I am using them only because I don't trust FireFox or WaterFox. Also, The Javascript timezone correction has always, *always* been evil because it should have displayed the timezone in the date rather than expecting you to magically know if a date has been corrected into your timezone or not.
@mcc can't have timezone bugs if you don't have timezones
