I have a strong need to disobey, so I often eat things labeled "Do not eat" or "Not for human consumption". Today I ironed something I was wearing because the iron manual said "Do not iron clothes while wearing them". Was careful not to burn myself though.
The other day, I only just stopped myself from eating a noticeably mouldy piece of rye bread. I love rye bread, but don't want to make like a medieval peasant. Though I've heard the ergot is quite trippy.
This is what getting old does to you - makes you less adventuresome.
@fesshole DON'T GIVE ME A HUNDRED QUID. HONESTLY, IT'S THE WORST THING YOU COULD DO...
Oppositional defiance. Look it up. I've met people and had a nephew-in-law who fit the description to a tee. My wife's grandfather met the description too.
Look out the window and see it is a beautiful, sunny day and you declare it as such. Then the oppositional defiant person looks out the window and MUST contradict you. Maybe they say it definitely looks like rain later. As to my nephew he'd declare it looked cloudy and rainy as the sun shone.
It's the weirdest thing.
@fesshole do not sell all your belongings and definitely do not donate the proceedings to the poor
@fesshole I have a question for you: what does silica gel actually taste like?
