Refreshing to see on a room-service menu.
@pluralistic What I love is that the water is almost part of the table - free to drink 😁 You can also buy if you want bottled either simple or with bubbles... I have established a ritual for myself, when I wake up I always drink a glass of water, rehydration after sleep seems to improve the morning, then a coffee puts a spring in my step.
@pluralistic I hope you're in Vienna, and this isn't a fancy hotel in e.g. Dubai where they import Viennese tap water at inflated prices?
@pluralistic FYI random german lesson; In germany we dont say 'tap water' we say 'Kranewasser'.
Kran means tap. (And crane xD, we also call it a cock sometimes! 'Wasserhahn')
Wasser, obviously, water.
Its just with german slang, since normaly it would be 'Kranwasser" and not with the ne inbetween, it just established as that.
Theres also the term "Kraneberger" since most water companies use any sort of mountain (Berg) in their name, so it got its name from that.
The more you know.
@pluralistic And dont get me started about austrias tinfoil hat water. "revitalized water"

(This one is german, use a translator if you are interested, I really need to translate some articles I guess) https://www.psiram.com/de/index.php/Grander-Wasser
The opposite of this douchebag in Iceland who told his guests the tap water isn’t safe and then bottled it and sold it to them.
