It is remarkable to me when I meet an engineer who is *working at an AI* company and I realize that they have no idea how LLMs work. I don't ever recall knowing someone who called themselves and engineer, NOT knowing how the products their company produced worked, certainly in much finer detail than their customers did. Could you imagine an aerospace engineer saying, "Well I don't know how they fly, but man our latest plane is sooo cool."

@nomdeb @ChuckMcManis I'd add that much of our present Internet is probably open to a lot of the kind of Murphy's Law events that the trailer suggests.
@ChuckMcManis On my very first computer job I was tasked to write some test plans. Trouble was, they could not tell me what I was testing and with what - because my security clearance had not yet come through.
So I needed to attenuate a radio signal as part of a test. Since the radio was directional I instructed them to point it straight down.
Turned out that the antennae was a rather large radio dish out in the middle of the Australian desert - it would have fallen out of its rotating mount had it been moved even slightly downward.
