Just learned that there's legislation in the US that prevents Medicare from negotiating prices at the launch of a new drug.
That is NOT what the market will bear. This is legislated price fixing and what amounts to corporate welfare. If anyone tells you America is about markets and free enterprise, laugh in their face.
@mike The true “free market” has not existed in a very long time. If it did we would it have this glut of billionaires. The myth has legs.
