@morebento @benno @danyork I'll be at PFFF because we have a decades-long family tradition of spending all weekend complaining about bands we wanted to see at Womadelaide and/or Meredith.
Nah, I'm excited, gonna be a fantastic March.
@morebento @nickzoic @benno Hi! Are you sure you all meant to include me in this thread? I'm not in Australia (I'm in Vermont, USA) and I have no idea what all these music festivals are!
Perhaps you meant another Dan York? (There are many.). Or a @danyork on another Mastodon server?
@morebento @nickzoic @benno Oh, no worries! It’s been fun to see the thread and the music festivals sound great! I just wanted to be sure you weren’t thinking you were talking to some other “Dan York” and then wondering why he wasn’t joining in! 🤣
@danyork @nickzoic @benno glad you enjoyed it! (this is all in Adelaide, South Australia where we have an annual world music festival called Womadelaide) I’ve always been interested in Vermont, I used to have some books by Murray Bookchin who lived there, and of course Bernie Saunders. It sounds a lot like Adelaide in its liberal / progressive history. Well met!
@benno @danyork I’m going to see them at womadelaide
