I still don’t understand why opentelemetry is so often implemented as three entirely separate packages
The only time I ever think about this is when I update one of them and then get errors because actually I need to update all of them
I suspect this is particularly annoying in Elixir because it’s actually Erlang packages wrapped in Elixir but still— how would I ever benefit from them being 3 separate packages with 3 separate versions?
@nat I’ve done many erlang libraries that have the elixir “namespace” included, I wonder if the same could be done to OT
