Rayven: That I'll be 5 soon.
Me: You'll be 5, next year.
Rayven: I'm almost 5, now.
Me: I guess you are!
Rayven: Do you know what's happening next Spring?
Me: No, what will be happening?
Rayven: I'm graduating from (pre)school!
Me: Wow! Big day for you!
Rayven: I get to wear a special hat!
Me: How wonderful! You know it is a great day when you get to wear a special hat!
Rayven: Yes, indeedy! (I have no idea where he picked that up but he says this a lot 🤣)

Rayven's Mom is dropping him off for his first visit with Mom/his Grandma, this afternoon. We missed celebrating his 4th birthday earlier this month because Mom was still in the hospital.
