Became a little bit fixated on how strange this shopping cart's shadow looked.
#MonochromeMonday
@Alice but you got the shadows of the lamp post and the cart in, the weird crop gives an eerie feeling
@Alice what camera do you use?
@Alice@beige.party @Alice@gram.social
You take great photos. I thought it might have been a stand alone digital camera.
I've been thinking about a compact digital camera like a #Ricoh GR or a #Fujifilm X100. It's partly because I want better photos, and it's partly because I want to be less tethered to a mother ship - Google in my case.
@morgan @Alice@gram.social Yeah, I actually have a FujiFilm X100VI but it mostly sits on a shelf with my other cameras because I’m clumsy and afraid of breaking it.
I've also found that I just don't enjoy carrying around things so I tend to favor taking photos with my phone since it's already in my pocket.
I do occasionally use the X100VI, but mostly when I see a photo I want to try to get better detail of from afar.
@Alice@beige.party @morgan @Alice@gram.social TIL about the Beaver Trilogy. Thanks!
@Alice@gram.social I would like to note that this shopping cart photo isn't the best because it's cropped strangely because I wanted to get the noise of a Target parking lot out of the frame.
If you ever see a photo of mine that seems like I made a questionable cropping choice -- that's probably why.
But I did really love the shadow so I still posted it because I wanted others to see how strange it was.
