Technical question about podcasting / radio: how do you record an online call with three separate guests plus me as a conductor, while all of us listen to the same music in the background?
This is what we did this weekend, the end result was good but there was too much (really) hassle and quite some work in post-production. Before telling you how I did this, I would like to hear how you (would) do it, please.
@icaria36 @randulo Alex @arod put me on to this recently: https://farplay.io/ - haven’t used it for anything yet but had a quick play: seems good!
@meljoann Thank you! https://farplay.io looks interesting. We don't plan to play online jams (yet!?!?) but it seems to provide the features needed, including Linux support. (!) I'll check.
@randulo Zencastr also seems to provide the features we need but it goes well beyond on pubishing (which we have sorted out) and I reckon this iOS only / AI / "vibecasting"... vibe puts me off. Between this and Zoom I'd use Zoom.
@icaria36 @meljoann @arod @robert_bantin @paul_griffin We used the web, never mobile. Obv Google Meet works, too.

@icaria36 I recommend you try these folks. We evaluated them on our own tech podcast 12 years ago, and they're still there!
