although, the game hasn't explicitly said anything about my character's gender
it just has a goblin who calls me "dude" and some kind of snake lady who was sucking on her own tail and saying "woman character"
this is the first game I've ever seen that goes "here's the potion seller YOU ALSO BUY GROCERIES AND TOILET PAPER FROM HER BUT WE DON'T SHOW THAT BECAUSE IT'S BORING"
sex video games need to start before they ask you what your character's name is by saying what genders and private parts are available
why does every fantasy game have race-locked countries and not reflect on why that's a fantasy trope in the first place

or maybe they just wanted the player character to have a penis and they're actually aware that non-men can have those
because apart from the goblin calling the player character "dude" and the receptionist calling them handsome after seeing their dick, nothing even implicitly gendered has happened related to the player character
@ben Porn devs only ever accounting for straight white men playing their games is friggen tiresome
so this game uses ♀ as a marker for "press button to continue" and had the longest time span from "enter your character's name" to "everyone starts calling you a human man" I've ever seen in a game so I guess I'm just playing as Woman Character who does not pass and is too shy to correct anyone
