@daringfireball It's interesting, as someone who's been using Face ID for 6+ years now (since I got my iPhone 12 mini) I gotta say… I dislike it compared to Touch ID. Every morning when I first look at my phone, Face ID fails. I never once had this issue with Touch ID. It's so bad I've had to revert back from a secure password to a 6 digit passcode a few years ago. I would kill for Touch ID on my 12 mini.
@daringfireball Touch ID is incomparably better if you wear a mask. Face ID “with a mask” fails at least 2/3 of the time. I’ve been typing my PIN for the last five years, probably hundreds of times a day
