Anyone else find the premise suspicious? Why did he ask specifically if more than **20%** of your code is **still** written **by hand**?

Waiting on an answer, but imho the implication / framing is that 80% of code is written by AI and that by-hand is some visage of the past. (obviously BS)

Wouldn't be surprising considering the guy codes for an ai harness so appears to be conflict of interest there...

@wild_cube I asked because 20% is a pretty good divider between people who embrace AI and who don’t today. Even if you are fully relying on AI to write code, there are some leftover situations where you need to write by hand. Figured 20% covers that.

@wild_cube it’s harder to do a poll on arbitrary percentages given the limited number of choices. A binary question is significantly easier. But what would you expect to learn from an arbitrary percent answer that this does not answer?

The goal was to figure out if the different platforms lean differently still. The question was sufficient to answer that.
