One of my contacts posted their one of these and I thought it looked like fun, but I've managed to lose the original post, don't know who it was, sorry!
Courtesy of https://my9albums.org/, and would be a completely different set on another day, but this is what I came up with today.
@keefmarshall cool! I don't know many of yours, I do like the race for space tho :)
mine
@bazkie @keefmarshall I only know 2 of those 😅
I have most of those I think.. certainly heard of them all. Might not have that specific Wye Oak one... I like "If Children" of theirs.
@keefmarshall and I don't know that why oak one! lol
@bazkie @keefmarshall they definitely don't have enough of necrocock's albums on here, but bipolární noci or křivoklátské martyrium would have definitely made it on mine... so instead i threw in another master's hammer album
one of these i only found out about this year courtesy of @vbabka :d
but on the other hand, i've known about záviš since i was too young to be supposed to know about záviš
@bazkie @keefmarshall i look forward to listening to some new stuff
@jwtownshend @bazkie @keefmarshall never heard of any 😅
Edit: actually that’s not true, Sam keeps mentioning super furry animals to me. Need to check them out properly.
@jwtownshend @keefmarshall same! I don't know any of yours! :D
@bazkie @keefmarshall don't worry, there's no kpop or vocaloid! 😅 (sadly i don't listen to that in album form, although, it is now what i mostly listen to)

@keefmarshall I don’t know if you heard of Ian Neal. I just discovered him and he does music with a similar sound to Genesis in the Wind & Wuthering era. The disc I picked up is from 2026 and called “…this gemlike flame…” It’s one of my new favorites!
