@EUCommission The day goes back to 2003: the Council of Europe decided in June that year to launch it jointly with the Commission, and the first one was held on 24 October 2003. It has been marked around 25 October since 2004 (Council of Europe).

As long the EU fail to apply existing legislation to hold the IRRESPONSIBLE Techbros with their AI models and social media companies to account, such statements are nothing more than lip service.
Hi @jensth, we are moving quickly here. Since our enforcement powers under the AI Act came into effect on 2 August, we’ve already sent our first requests for information to providers of the most advanced models around the world addressing issues such as security, external evaluation and model use. @EUCommission Thanks for sharing the link. It shows in the first place that the base is prepared. However, where is the point of having this if it is not used to enforce those players to respect the rules. When ever a software and/or computer hack becomes known, they are treated as crime. But when openAI & co. is doing the same it is handled as accidents. Why? Behind any performance of LLM's humans are making the decision how to prompt and what security measures are implemented. @EUCommission This is a great example of propaganda. The EU commission is constantly undermining the ICC by not helping prosecutors avoid US sanctions but most importantly by allowing war criminals with issued warrants to travel within EU borders with impunity. This award is performative and doesn't help the court in any meaningful way, but it allows EU to pretend that they stand for justice. The EU shouldn't be trusted until they take meaningful actions to support international law.

@EUCommission completely agree, so when are you arresting genocidal war criminals and CEOs of corporations trying to destroy the planet, steal our work and buy elections? Or is that not what you meant?
Appoint Kyrylo Budanov to lead the ICC, and you'll see war criminals convicted in less than a day instead of in months or years.

Justice is long gone, money is talking long time.
Those who can pay an expensive lawyer walk free, even when they are guilty of awefull crime(s) due to some bs loophole or small mistake during the process of investigation/arrest or they fight as long as they want until the other party is out of money n
And those who can not pay a lawyer at all will get a prejudging pro deo who's not doing anything because of prejudging.
Don't talk to me about justice. Justice is money and politics. All politicians know about the loopholes. Nobody does anything. And with a pro deo people are guilty before proven they are not, they have to proove it themselves because a for a lawyer acting pro deo: there' no honor and,most important, no money to gain.
I spit on the so called justice! 🤬
