@davidgerard please don't worry. i think your merch is so much better, and i believe your merch will retain value for much longer.
@fractalolivia i still have my morning coffee from my Pivot mug and it's going strong
@davidgerard btw this is one of the tees i was going to send you https://www.teepublic.com/t-shirt/97970872-dead-monkey-all-my-apes-gone?store_id=3920545
That said... I do have an "enron" baseball hat that I like to wear on the 4 train (which goes down to wall st) when the market looks unstable.
@futurebird @davidgerard you can still buy them
https://enron.com/collections/shop
Apparently somebody bought the rights to the logo and trademark for like $100 at a bankruptcy auction and is selling official licensed merch now
The OpenAI baseball hat will be very fashionable in 2040 or so I think? Sadly their logo isn't as peppy and cute as enron. So... maybe never.
@futurebird @davidgerard I agree, Enron’s logo was a banger, this just says “we are successful company with nothing to hide” all over
Pity really. Poor designer. Probably among their best work, but I doubt they brag about it.
@futurebird @puercomal @davidgerard probably got over it, he also did IBM, ABC, UPS, and NeXT
So if this one is destroyed then rather easily the human race might be free of it...
@davidgerard
Emphasis on "desperately".
