@ozzelot @fasterandworse holy fuck this one already has the exact screen damage all folding phones develop! it starts with a column and a blob of dead pixels then it starts flickering then sometimes you lose a big part of one screen

A few devices like that were really fun, like the dual display case for LG phones. You could have a normal slab, or pop on a case, and have two screens for multi-tasking. I wish a company would bring that accessory back.
@ozzelot @fasterandworse oh wow, another one with damage
I’m literally just looking for what the apps look like and getting these
@ozzelot @fasterandworse jesus god, these things just came out didn’t they? I didn’t lose consciousness and they came out several months ago?
@ozzelot @fasterandworse also wait is that linus tech tips and… one of his dickhead friends possibly? in the photo widget?
@zzt @ozzelot @fasterandworse The one, ONE foldable device that would've maybe been cool was the Microsoft Courier. It didn't have a fucking seam down the middle to turn the screen into a wear component. They killed it in the concept phase iirc.
