@derek @pfefferle I just uninstalled WordPress recently, and switched my blog to WriteFreely, due to increasing ableism by mr. Mullenweg who's behaving not so correctly towards accessibility team.
I'm the Italian translator of ActivityPub plugin, or at least one of them, I will continue to do this job as I take my responsibilities and go on with them till I finish. But I can't rely on a platform whose leaders are gradually dismantling accessibility. I can't work in an environment (gutenberg) which I was very enthusiast of just 2 years ago, and which now is becoming hell. I can't go on with a platform where's full of security vulnerabilities and spam comments despite antispam, I can't choose to geoblock a country (Russia) where 30 thousands people die for AIDS each years (at least), in an HIV related site, because most spam bots come from there. I can't stay in a place where I feel afraid to talk about accessibility issues, because I fear that Mullenweg could decide to say "go to express your talents somewhere else". A place where you don't literally know if opening an accessibility issue on the core will actually lead to a fix, is not a place where a 25-years-experienced accessibility worker can stay.

@pfefferle @derek the unluck is that both leaders are named Matt so we can easily misunderstand.
That said, I noticed it's quicker to use WriteFreely, although it has a couple heavy issues I reported on their github (1776 and 1778).
Unfortunately there are few updates...
As for WordPress, it does not depend on me; it depends on Mullenweg's decisions on accessibility. My fear is that he's gradually dismantling the team, so, even reporting issue, becomes more and more complicated.
@elettrona @derek first: thank you so much for keep helping with the translations!
then: oh no 😢 I really appreciated your feedback! it is really sad to lose you to writefreely! but I can't complain, Matt Bear did an amazing job there!
...and maybe you will have another WordPress project some time in the future :)
