Today I played Sonic Frontiers, I expected it to be a bit boring and messy, and let's say it exceeded my expectations. 😐

@Brett_E_Carlock Sadly no. 😕 The writing is boring and cartoony while the story is bland and pretentious, I don't like how the characters are portrayed either, and the gameplay is… I didn't really played 3D Sonic games after the first Riders, except Generations many years after its release and I didn't like it, but damn Frontiers' gameplay is so bad and janky, like Generations' but way way worse. Sonic Adventure 2's janky gameplay is rock solid in comparison.

Ahh, okay. Perhaps on a steep enough sale, then. The OST is decent, at least.
@Brett_E_Carlock I find the OST weird TBH, the music is good on its own but… well the overworld music is extremely boring, especially as you listen to it alone for the vast majority of the game, and the cyberspace tracks are out of place electro that don't match the levels. You can change the overworld music for some collectible tracks from previous games, but I don't like this feature, it's not like changing the radio in GTA. That being said I'm only about 4 hours in.
@Brett_E_Carlock Imagine vacations outdoor in Iceland while you have depression, wearing a pair of skates that you don't know how to use, all while being tasked to clean up some some jank left in the wild while sometimes having someone phoning you to infodump you about some soap opera. That's Sonic Frontiers.
