Just a reminder that the clocks go back tonight and that time isn't real 👍
@TheBreadmonkey
Back... Back through the mists of ... * checks notes* ... through the mists of the early universe before it knew what it was.
Tempted to just go back by 30 minutes & then leave it there. I'll forever be either half an hour early or late but always on time*.
*This presupposes that I am good, if not excellent at ensuring that I arrive on time to everything... I wish.
Time isn't real. But clocks are. And they go back tonight
@TheBreadmonkey Lunchtime doubly so.
(RIP, Douglas)
. . . I know they go back, but back where?
@TheBreadmonkey clocks go back where? to the hell that spawned them? great idea!
@TheBreadmonkey So Nov 1st is the last time, time lasts?..
@TheBreadmonkey More bed yussss. Fucking get in.
@TheBreadmonkey Ooh yeah, thanks for the reminder.
@TheBreadmonkey I believe that Nov. 1 is the official end of Daylight Saving Time. So we turn the clocks back next Saturday night.
We're a little slow here in my part of the world. That happens next week, over here.
It's insanity to continue the charade of time change, such disruption for everyone, and not even at the same time everywhere. 😬
I measure time in colours so it doesn't affect me. Can't wait for brown. A time of festival.
@TheBreadmonkey I live on LST, Luqa Standard Time. I invented it last year at this time. It's a mix of time zones and LSD, but I've not tried LSD yet. I just ignore time except when I'm time traveling.
@TheBreadmonkey the part I hate is after the clocks go back, having to buy new ones at the clock store. In the good old days we used to be able to go to the clock ancestral gathering place and pick out our old ones.
@TheBreadmonkey oh it's real! They borrowed it this spring, and now it's pay back time. Unfortunately, there is absolutely no interest. Actually I think we pay a little bit both times. But the sleep will be real. Oh, so real.
