Anybody have more info on the #Alaska Senate race and the 2nd Dan Sullivan? I'm seeing news coverage complaining that Trump wants to nullify a possible Dem win, but AFAICT he has a point.
In Illinois, we've seen establishment Dems pull this shit in primaries many times. Run a fake candidate with a similar name to your opponent in races with more than two options available. Now Dems can do this in the general thanks to #RankedChoiceVoting AND also taint that structural challenge to their power.
@wjmaggos But #RankedChoiceVoting is why it won’t work. As long as more people vote for the right Sullivan than for the wrong one, #RCV will save those votes for him. Peltola can’t win without a majority.
