we got to 26 out of 1,447 on day 2! 🥳
to keep me accountable and make sure I don't make any sneaky progress offline, here's the Figma file: https://www.figma.com/design/EZt7Rt0KKdzXVtga8pB2in/Pidgin-Emoji

@hbons I was so impressed seeing you make the specks for «😎». Such cool sorcery :)
@tautropfli thank you! most of the sorcery is moving things around randomly until things fall into place. it's about hitting that happy accident and knowing what to keep. :)
@hbons the hearts are so cute with the rounding
@hbons These look great!
@hbons To be fair I couldn’t do anything without the sneaking. Every time you have a moment, do a thing :)
we got to 11 out of 1,443 on day 1! 🥳

@hbons I sometimes think I should live stream my coding but then I realise it’s like 2hrs of me staring blankly at the code screaming “why the fuck isn’t this working?”
@hbons @noodles @iain I used to get real anxious when I first started but the nerves go away after a while.
I know a lot of people get worried about making mistakes in front of other people, and yeah it's going to happen, but remember that we all make mistakes when people aren't watching too.
That said there are a lot of people out there that will insist on telling you of your typos even when your tooling will catch them. Last person blamed their OCD 😮💨
Anyways it gets much easier with time.
🔴 I'm live again on #Twitch continuing where we left off designing 11 / 1,447 #GNOME style emoji for @pidgin! :)
