today was way too much for me and i am melting down into a puddle
on the plus side i got more people to stop misgendering me so much and i've only been deadnamed once, and he accepted the gentle correction

Also I learned from a distant cousin on my dad’s side that there is a family history of Crohn’s (including herself), and I mentioned this to my parents and my mom denied that there has been and my dad said “this is the first I’ve heard of it” but he also didn’t even know this cousin existed more than a year ago so call me hesitant to take him at his word
Wellp just got deadnamed by my mom and she was annoyed about the correction
also even though she knows I'm in meltdown conditions right now she tried to put me to work with more food prep for tomorrow
and tomorrow I also have to get up at 7 in the fucking morning, and even getting that information was like extracting soup from a stone
This morning I dragged myself out of bed and barely was able to feed myself and now she’s asking me to cut some fucking grapes
Nobody fucking cares about the goddamn grapes
Like what’s more important, having beautifully sliced grapes for the reception or having me recite the invocation of the Torah reading?
I told her I’m exhausted
She said I’d just be sitting there cutting grapes

@hi_cial she's been doing a lot for this bat mitzvah for the last couple months (despite my sister telling her she really doesn't need to kill herself over this) and this week has been extra stressful for her (of her own doing) and she also thinks there's a bunch more she needs to do and now she's trying to delegate it to me
