- Every flag is a political and historical ideological statement.
- Banning symbols because you fear their power is the best lesson that symbols have amazing power and should be used more often.
- The banned thing represents a different way of thinking than the power structure wants and is worth investigating.
All flag bans and book bans and the like show is that the parties own ideology is so weak it can't stand even the thought of other ways of thinking. That simple group think is the only chance they have.
