I enjoy taking my handheld radio frequency jammer to the psychic clairvoyancy events my wife drags me to. The panic on the "psychic's" face when their assistant looking everyone up on social media behind the scenes gets replaced with static in their ear is brilliant.
I want this to be true. I also want one of those jammer things.
@fesshole I don't believe this one but I want to.
@fesshole A work of fiction.
@fesshole
How about recording the signal and playing it back on a speaker as people exit the event? (Possibly illegal but getawaywithable)
@fesshole it's a lovely idea but unless it's a _very_ small venue or his gear is _very_ illegal, it won't wash.
also: cold reading is a whole thing.
your wife knows, that's why she keeps bringing you
@fesshole So-called "faith healer" and evangelist Peter Popoff was exposed in 1986 by stage magician James Randi for using a concealed earpiece to receive radio messages from his wife, who gave him the names, addresses, and ailments of audience members during Popoff-led religious services.
@fesshole come on,....you haven't really done this,.....have you?
@fesshole I believe the kids on 4chan would've called this 'fake and spooky'
@fesshole Chinny reckon, but I love the idea.
