Question I might have asked before: Why is NetBSD the one everyone is moving to? Did the other BSD go slop? Are they just not as good? What happened to FreeBSD, OpenDSB, DragonflyBSD?

@mdhughes That's too bad about openbsd, I liked the idea of using a Canadian operating system. Plus their songs are a lot of fun (I would unironically listen to them in high school back when my music collection was entirely made of random, non-pirated songs I could find around the internet)
@Canageek I'm not totally up on these matters but I recall hearing that FreeBSD started getting slop contributions round about v14. but we still use it
@Canageek FreeBSD's slop policy is "maybe we will, we won't say", <bats eyelashes>, & has accepted slop-infected packages already. Pity, because I liked FreeBSD as a user & sysadmin.
OpenBSD is just annoying, Theo's difficult to work with.
NetBSD has been very clear: NO.
