@jwildeboer not even completely sure why that's funny, but I'm still laughing. 😂 thanks!
@jwildeboer I had the mentioned video in my "retro computing" list, but forgot to blog about it, so it's now in the blog queue. Thanks!
@jwildeboer Do you mean there's any other way of watching videos? 😁 #silenceIsGolden
@jwildeboer Thank you. It was a great start for my Monday morning. I had to laugh and suddenly found myself in memories of times long ago.
@jwildeboer the subtitles made me laugh so hard
@jwildeboer @timpritlove Modem Dial-Up Sound –> Music
Here’s the dial-up tone of my good old Apple Macintosh Performa 5400/180 (color: black!) being used as a musical instrument! (Modem Sound appears at min:sec ~2:05)

@jwildeboer
At some point I expected "Rick Ascii" to show up on the screen.
@jwildeboer I've used them all. It's missing the Telebit Trailblazer, proprietary asymmetric 19.2k/2400. I used a pair of them for a few years, one hooked up to a server at work and one in my house. Now they're sitting in a box in a closet somewhere.
@jwildeboer if this was a blind quiz, I think I would have gotten most of them.
It means I'm both old and a nerd right?
@jwildeboer An amazing experience 😂
@jwildeboer It's a shame that Zyxel's 16,800 and 19,200 bps models are missing. I guess I'll never hear them again.
@jwildeboer Thank you! 😃👍
Eagerly awaiting the day two service droids bump into each other and start having a heated argument in 'modem' 🤖🤬
