@gamingonlinux I think they are quite late to the game of vibecoding. Companies keep losing money to it.
Some people is realizing the turds AI spits out. But still not enough, apparently. They may never realize that. Economics is the only thing that will teach them.

I don't think there will be a pivot away from it: the technology is advancing enough (rolling context and memory, RAG, agent groups, etc.) for them to keep people confused long enough to have them not realize it causes mental illness/degeneration, while the movers and shakers (power wielders) make big cash grabs, for far fewer workers at far fewer pay, all for the pat on the back of being a good lackee/flunkee.
